Broadband Survey & Drive-Through Food Distribution

Hello GLPS Families,

It is "Two for Tuesday" ... I've got two items for you...  (1) a request from Eaton RESA to do a survey and (2) an announcement about a drive-through food distribution...

(1) Help expand and improve internet service for Eaton County residents!

Is your home internet service non-existent, unreliable, slow, or expensive? Eaton County is undertaking a major initiative to get funding to make fast internet available in more places across our county. 

Please go to https://myconnectedcommunity.org/eaton-county and fill out the survey to provide the county with information on your current internet setup. The survey takes less than 5 minutes to complete. For those without internet access, the survey can be picked up in printed form at your local library or government office. 

Without your input, Eaton County will not be able to fix your internet problems, so please take advantage of this important opportunity. Please feel free to share this message on your social media to get the message out.  We really need your help!  

(2) Drive-Through Food Distribution for Eaton County Residents

Saturday, October 2, 2021 -- registration and vehicle line up begins at 8:00 a.m. and the distribution runs 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. (or until the food is distributed).

Locations: Auto-Owners Moulton Building (rear parking lot), 6200 Anacapri Blvd., Lansing MI 48917 -- please enter and exit on St. Joseph Hwy
