Dear Beagle Middle School Families,
Here are some updates we wanted to share at this time:
Thank You to Parent Volunteers: We wanted to thank our family volunteers and Beagle Middle School staff members for volunteering their time to support the PTO/fundraiser-sponsored all-school dance last night! We greatly appreciate your support.
Athletics: Mr. Jim Price, Middle School Athletic Director, sent out a communication to our families this week from Mrs. Hernandez’s desk. Mr. Price, who works for the district in a different building and is present for all evening athletic events, will continue to put out quarterly newsletters to our families moving forward. The next newsletter with applicable athletic updates will come out around December 1st, which will be followed by updates on March and June 1st. This way, our families have a head’s up in regards to upcoming interscholastic athletic opportunities at the middle level. NWEA Scores: Our technology department has been able to load NWEA scores into PowerSchool. Our central office leadership team is actively working on a video for our families to demonstrate how to access NWEA scores within Parent Portal. We thank you for your continued patience, and we will share the video with our families as soon as it’s ready.
Boys’ Open Gym: Boys interested in participating in middle school basketball tryouts, which will occur at the end of October, are welcome to engage in open gym here at Beagle on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30-8pm. These open gym sessions will be supervised by high school basketball coaching staff.
PTO Meeting: Our next Hayes/Beagle PTO meeting of the year will be on Tuesday, October 22nd at 6:30 pm here in the Beagle Media center. Families may also attend this meeting virtually as there is currently a hybrid offering.
