Here are some updates we wanted to share with you at this time:
Thanksgiving Recess: As we approach next week, we wanted to remind our families that there is no school Wednesday, November 27–Monday, December 2nd. Classes resume on Tuesday, December 3rd. Since we will not be sending a newsletter next week on account of the shortened week, we wanted to take this opportunity to wish our families a happy and healthy Thanksgiving recess with family and friends.
PBIS Beagle PRIDE Store Donations: The Beagle PRIDE Store is seeking donations! Starting in December, students can turn in their PRIDE tickets for a chance to win a bigger prize. Washington, D.C. Update: The wreath/candy fundraiser pick up is scheduled for Tuesday, December 3rd from 3:30 - 5:30pm in the Beagle Cafeteria. Please be advised that we do not have room to store any items, please arrange someone to pick up this fundraiser. If you have questions regarding the Washington DC fundraiser, please connect with your student’s Social Studies teacher.
PTO Meeting: We thank our families that attended the previous PTO meeting; your support is appreciated. We wanted to take this opportunity to remind our families that attendance at PTO meetings does not require an every month commitment; family support and input is appreciated whether it’s attending one or several PTO meetings. Our next Hayes/Beagle PTO meeting will be on Tuesday, December 10th at 6:30 pm here in the Beagle Media center. Families may also attend this meeting virtually as there is currently a hybrid offering.
