Welcome to Wacousta Elementary School!
At Wacousta, we believe in Growing Learners and Preparing Students for success in school and in life. Our dedicated staff nurtures the whole child by creating an engaging academic environment while supporting each student’s social and emotional development. We strive to make learning meaningful, memorable, and joyful.

Whether you're new to our school or a returning family, our office team is here to support you. Mrs. Tracy Johnson and Mrs. Deb Nichols are ready to help you each day in the main office. Our school counselor, Mrs. Kelsey Burzynski, and our Dean of Students, Mrs. Sara Taylor, are also available to support your child’s growth and well-being.

To change an address, we need to verify your residency using one of the documents listed below. This document must be uploaded to the Express Gateway. Driver's licenses and voter registration cards are NOT acceptable for this purpose. The following are the only documents that we can accept to verify your residency:
Property Tax Statement (the taxes you pay on your home twice a year)
Lease/Rental Agreement (with your name, the address, and the signature pages signed by both the lessee and lessor)
Utility Bill
Mortgage/Home Closing Documents
Cable/Internet Bill
Home/Renter's Insurance
