Early Childhood Special Education
Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) at GLPS
ECSE is a program where students have an IEP (Individualized Educational Program) with eligibility (such as Speech or ASD). Students needing referrals can inquire through Build Up Michigan for screenings: http://www.buildupmi.org or call (517) 541-8937. This ECSE program is for 3-5 year-olds and has half day or full day options – depending on student needs (held Mondays through Thursdays). Half Day times are: 8:25-11:35am OR 12:20-3:30pm. Full Day M-TH option from 8:25am-3:30pm. Students can be transported via Dean Transportation or may self-transport. Tricia Brentar is the Principal of ECSE, ph: 925-5610
Register for ECSE
In order to register for Early Childhood Special Education at GLPS, your child must already have an IEP (Individualized Education Plan). If your child does have an IEP, you can begin the registration process by doing the Online Pre-Enrollment on Registration Gateway.
