Knights Templar Educational Foundation - Senior must be a permanent resident of Michigan pursuing a two or four year degree, graduate or trade school education. Applications available in the Student or click here Services Office. Deadline is February 15, 2018.

2018 MEA Scholarship - Must be a dependent of an MEA member or MEA retired member in good standing.  Priority given on basis of academic achievement, extra-curricular activities, school and community service, and students from lower income households.  Application available online by clicking here  or visit student service.   Deadline: February 22, 2018

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Scholarship - Available to black/African American female students with a 2.75 GPA or higher who reside in the greater Lansing area. Applications available in the Student Services Office or click here to apply on line. Application deadline is February 24, 2018.

Jason Plite Memorial Swimming Scholarship - Open to GLHS seniors only; seniors must list swimming achievements and future goals or plans involving swimming. Applications available in the Student Services Office or click here. Application deadline is March 1, 2018.


Jason Plite Memorial Artistic Scholarship - Open to GLHS seniors only; seniors will submit samples of artwork to be considered for this scholarship. Applications available in the Student Services Office or click here. Application deadline is March 1, 2018.

Rosa Parks Scholarship Foundation - Seniors must have GPA of 2.5 or above. Financial need will be a consideration. Click here to apply on line Informational flier available in the Student Services Office. Deadline is March 1, 2018.

Wacousta-DeWitt Masonic Lodge Scholarship - Applications available in the Student Services Office or click here. Parent membership in this lodge is not a requirement. Application deadline is March 31, 2018.

Beagle Elementary PTO - Senior must have attended Beagle Elementary School and preference will be given to those who have volunteered time with the Beagle PTO or their parents donated time. Applications available in the Student Services Office or click here. Deadline is April 1, 2018.

Michigan Retailers Association Scholarship - Senior or his/her parent must be employed at a business that is a member of Michigan Retailers Association. Click here to apply online. Further information available in the Student Services Office. Application deadline is April 2, 2018.

John Lynden Barnes Memorial Scholarship - For a G.L.H.S. senior entering into a skilled trade school or apprenticeship program in the area of building construction, electrical, plumbing, heating/cooling, or automotive mechanic.  Applications available in the Student Services Office.  Deadline is April 13, 2018.

Eaton Federal Savings Bank Herbert R. Black Memorial Scholarship - Two G.L.H.S. seniors will receive a scholarship.    Must have a minimum of 3.0 GPA and preferably show an interest in a business field or skilled trades.  Financial need will be considered.  Applications available in the Student Services Office or click here.  Deadline is April 13, 2018.

Lakewood Area Choral Society Scholarship - Upon graduation senior will pursue a major in vocal music education at a four year accredited institution. Applications available in the Student Services Office or click here to apply online. Deadline is April 18, 2018.

Nancy Lange and Michael Kaufman Scholarship - Open to GLHS band and choir students.  Participation, dedication,  excellence, loyalty and leadership in band or choir will be considered.  Applications available by clicking here or visit Student Services Office.  Deadline: April 20, 2018.

College Covered Scholarship Sweepstakes - The Discover Student Loans Scholarship Award Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open only to residents of the fifty (50) United States, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. territories who are at least sixteen (16) years old at the time of entry. Entrants must also be high school senior students who will be or college students who are enrolled at least half-time in a Bachelor's or Associate's degree program or graduate program at an eligible school or parent/legal guardians of students that satisfy the above eligibility requirements.  Click here for more information
